Product Description
Sodium copper chlorophyllin is produced from natural green plant tissues, such as silkworm excrement, clover, alfalfa, bamboo, and other plant leaves. It is extracted using organic solvents including acetone, methanol, ethanol, and petroleum ether. The process involves replacing the central magnesium ion in chlorophyll with copper ions, followed by alkaline saponification, removal of methyl and phytol groups, and conversion into a disodium salt through carboxyl formation. Therefore, sodium copper chlorophyllin is classified as a semi-synthetic pigment. Similar chlorophyll-derived pigments produced through related structures and processes include sodium iron chlorophyllin and sodium zinc chlorophyllin.

Product Application
Liver Protection
Sodium copper chlorophyllin exhibits significant antioxidant activity, helping the liver protect human cells from free radicals and oxidative stress. It may reduce the burden on the liver, activate liver reticuloendothelial cells, promote recovery of liver function, and enhance the resistance of liver cells.
Prevention of Leukopenia and Anemia
The causes of leukopenia are often complex and usually require symptomatic treatment. Sodium copper chlorophyllin has shown broad improvement effects, with clinical studies reporting an effectiveness rate of over 80% according to incomplete statistics.
Ulcer and Wound Healing
Sodium copper chlorophyllin is rapidly absorbed by the human body and can promote cellular metabolism, contributing to tissue repair and recovery.
Anti-Mutagenic Activity
It has inhibitory effects on various mutagens, including benzopyrene, and may enhance cell activity, improve macrophage phagocytosis, and strengthen the body's resistance to mutation.
