Product Description
Dapsone is a sulfone-class antibacterial agent with strong activity against Mycobacterium leprae. Its formulations have been widely used in the treatment of leprosy and are recognized as a first-line therapy. Dapsone works by inhibiting bacterial dihydrofolate synthase (DHPs), thereby blocking folic acid synthesis and disrupting bacterial protein production.
In addition to its antibacterial effects, dapsone also exhibits significant anti-inflammatory activity. It effectively scavenges toxic oxygen free radicals generated after neutrophil stimulation, and inhibits neutrophil aggregation and activation, thereby reducing the release of inflammatory mediators and limiting tissue damage.
Clinical studies have shown that an oral dose of 100 mg dapsone can achieve blood concentrations 500–600 times higher than the minimum inhibitory concentration required to inhibit Mycobacterium leprae. In recent years, dapsone has also been found to be effective in other infectious diseases, inflammatory skin disorders, autoimmune bullous diseases, urticaria, and more, demonstrating a broad range of therapeutic applications.

Product Application
4,4'-Diaminodiphenyl sulfone is an important aromatic sulfone compound produced through high-temperature and high-pressure amination processes. It is primarily used in the synthesis of polysulfoneamide resins and other polymeric materials, as well as in the production of various acidic azo dyes and disperse dyes.
In addition, it can serve as an epoxy resin curing agent and is used in electrical insulation materials and textile equipment applications. It also functions as a catalyst in certain chemical processes. In the pharmaceutical field, it is applied in the treatment of leprosy, herpetiform dermatitis, AIDS, and other diseases.
