Product Description
Tetrafluoroethylene (TFE, CAS No. 116-14-3) is a colorless, odorless, flammable gas with the molecular formula C₂F₄. It is a fundamental monomer used in the production of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE, commonly known as Teflon) and other fluoropolymer materials.
TFE is an important raw material for manufacturing PTFE plastics with excellent high-temperature and corrosion resistance. It is also used as a monomer for producing fluororubber and fluororesins, as well as a key ingredient in the preparation of fire extinguishing agents and fog suppressants.

Product Application
Tetrafluoroethylene, also known as perfluoroethylene, is widely used in the production of fluoropolymers, fluoroelastomers, and various fluorinated intermediates. It is applied in the plastics and resin industries and also serves as an intermediate for pesticide products such as flufenoxuron.
As a key monomer, tetrafluoroethylene is used to manufacture polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), other fluoroplastics, fluororubber, and perfluoropropylene. It can also be utilized as a raw material for producing advanced thermoplastics, engineering plastics, oil-resistant and low-temperature-resistant rubber materials, as well as new types of fire extinguishing agents and fog suppressants.
