Product Application

Sodium hexametaphosphate is widely used in meat products such as sausages, ham, and fish sausages, where it improves water retention, enhances adhesion, and helps prevent fat oxidation. In fermented food products like soybean paste and soy sauce, it helps prevent discoloration, increases viscosity, shortens fermentation time, and improves overall flavor.

In beverages such as fruit juices and refreshing drinks, it increases juice yield, enhances viscosity, and inhibits vitamin C degradation. In ice cream production, it improves expansion, increases volume, enhances emulsification, prevents structural damage, and improves taste and color. It is also used in dairy products and beverages to prevent protein gel precipitation.

In beer production, it helps clarify the product and prevents turbidity. In processed beans, canned fruits, and vegetables, it stabilizes natural pigments and preserves food color. In addition, spraying an aqueous solution of sodium hexametaphosphate on marinated meat can enhance its antimicrobial performance.
