Product Description
Hydroxypropyl guar gum is generally supplied as a white-to-light-yellow powder. It dissolves readily in water yet remains insoluble in organic solvents including alcohols, ethers and ketones.
Its aqueous solutions show favourable stability at room temperature over a wide pH range of 2.0-12.0. Nevertheless, viscosity drops markedly upon heating above 70 °C, and the material may suffer degradation in the presence of strong oxidizing agents.

Product Application
Hydroxypropyl guar finds extensive use across diverse enduse applications. Within the oil and gas sector, it acts as a key ingredient for fracturing fluids and drilling mud systems. It functions to raise drillingfluid viscosity, improve the suspension and transport of drill cuttings, lower the risk of wellbore collapse, and boost the proppantcarrying capacity of fracturing fluids.
