Product Description
CaCO₃ filler masterbatch (calcium carbonate filler masterbatch) is a functional plastic modifier. It adopts high-quality ground calcium carbonate (GCC) or precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC) as the main filler. Via sophisticated processing technology, calcium carbonate particles are evenly dispersed and encapsulated inside designated carrier resins, predominantly polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE).
Serving as an efficient partial replacement for virgin plastic resins, CaCO₃ filler masterbatch is suitable for diverse plastic processing techniques, especially injection molding. Featuring a scientifically engineered formula with a typical loading dosage ranging from 10% to 50%, the masterbatch substantially cuts raw material expenditure and optimizes multiple key performance attributes of finished plastic products.

Product Application For Woven Bags and Shopping Bags Cost Reduction
CaCO₃ filler masterbatch is capable of replacing 30–50% virgin PP, cutting raw material costs by 25–40%.
Performance Enhancements
· Higher Stiffness: This masterbatch raises the flexural modulus by 40–80%, improving stacking performance and load-bearing capacity of finished products.
· Superior Opacity: At 35% loading level, light transmittance can be controlled below 5%, offering better shielding for UV-sensitive contents.
· Boosted Moisture Resistance: The tortuous path effect introduced by fillers lowers the water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) by 15–20% and strengthens moisture barrier properties.
Cost Efficiency
When applied at a filler loading of 20–35%, CaCO₃ filler masterbatch reduces PE consumption by 15–30%, effectively minimizing the total production cost of bags.
